  • To schedule an initial consultation, please reach out to me via our contact form, email me directly at cullentruettdo@noblepractice.com or call and leave a message at 703-951-3440. I will respond to your inquiry in 1-2 business days.

  • I provide both virtual and in-person appointment options. Depending on your needs, your preferences, and my treatment recommendations, I will advise you on the most appropriate appointment type.

In-person appointments are conducted at my offices at:

    1629 K Street NW Suite 300 Washington, DC 20002

I am licensed to practice in VA, DC, MD, and CA. If you are seen via telehealth, you must be physically located in one of those states at the time of the appointment.

  • An initial intake appointment lasts 75 minutes and is scheduled after a brief phone conversation. Follow-up appointments are typically 25 minutes in duration, but 45 minute follow-ups are also available should they be required or recommended. At an initial intake, all new patients will receive a psychiatric evaluation. This initial evaluation may require multiple sessions depending on the reason for, and complexity of the presentation. The initial evaluation may include a request for medical examination, laboratory/medical studies, psychological evaluation/testing, collateral information, and prior medical/psychiatric/psychological records. Your consent may be requested to communicate with any current or prior healthcare providers as needed.

At the end of the evaluation period, I will provide treatment recommendations. The initial evaluation does not commit either of us to continuing treatment. If you and I agree to enter a doctor-patient relationship, it will commence after the conclusion of the initial evaluation and after deciding there is a mutual agreement regarding whether proceeding with treatment is appropriate. The timing and frequency of follow-up appointments are determined by clinical need and will be discussed with you at your initial appointment.

All services are available by appointment only. Appointments are currently available by telehealth, and if determined to be appropriate, in-person.

  • At this time, I do not participate in any insurance plans. If you have medical insurance, you have the option of filing claims for reimbursement for out-of-network service with your insurance. I will provide you with the necessary documentation (including documentation of payment, diagnostic codes and treatment codes) to submit a claim directly to your insurance carrier. Charges for services are due the day of service.

  • Initial appointment (75 minutes): $500.00

    50-minute appointment: $300.00

    25-minute appointment: $250.00

Single Consultation/Second Opinion Case Review: 500.00/hour

Fees are due at time of service and payable by credit card. Please contact me directly if you have questions or need to discuss fee schedule. A good-faith estimate is provided before initiating consultation or treatment.

If you are late for an appointment, you will be seen for the remaining time in your appointment but the charge will be for the full amount of the scheduled session. If you are unable to make an appointment, please call me as soon as possible and leave a voicemail message. Please provide 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment to avoid fees for late cancellations. Please keep in mind that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for missed appointments.

  • I am dedicated to maintaining your confidentiality and right to privacy regarding your health information. You are entitled under federal confidentiality laws to not have release of records or health information without your consent. I will be requesting your consent before contacting other individuals regarding your treatment.

There are limits to confidentiality. If there is concern for risk of harm to yourself or others, I will collaborate with you as well as other necessary individuals to pursue appropriate support and treatment.

  • If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, such as active thoughts of harming yourself or others, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If it is after business hours, please seek emergency services instead of calling the clinic if you have acute safety concerns, as I do not regularly check my messages after hours. I will provide you contact information you can provide to emergency staff once you establish care.
